Arrrrrrrgh! I am soo frustrated. Okay I wanted to convert a file to play on my phone, now the book says it supports

wmv

mp4

avi

So using Mels nifty tool I converted it to avi, perfect, the phone now says it does not support that format :huh::huh:

I'm so confused :confused::confused:

In the "Output Format" box tell it to use "MPEG-4 (mp4)", which should work a treat.

The .avi file format can be misleading, it can include slightly differing file formats. mp4 is mp4.

Ahh here's the rub, I had it in MPEG 4 and it wasn't having any of that either :(

If it's like my PDA some video files won't work unless I use the sync software to copy it across. If I just copy it onto the SD card I have problems. Not the same happening to you is it?

Arrgh, whats a flippin codec?

Basically it's a plug-in which will allow your video player to display certain file formats.

Shouldn't be an issue with wmv's...
