I've just lost reception on BBC1 & 2, ITV & Channel 4. C5 is OK. Anyone else lost reception?

No, all work fine for me.

Whereabouts in Stannington are you?

We can't get C5 though apart from via Sky Digital but we never have, it's not a new problem.

Same problem in Loxley, both analogue terrestrial and cable. ITV3 works fine.

Apparently Emley Moor has been struck by lightening. The source of this is the Digital Spy forums, so may not be entirely accurate.

Radio Sheffield confirmed that Emley Moor has been hit by lightning and that BBC1 & 2 are back.

Its coming back in bits... got bbc1 on digital terrestrial and analogue terrestrial and the program guide and the 'press red' (but a blank screen) on cable.

Unfortunately, now we can watch 'enders and I dont have an excuse to be "playing" on my computer... :)

Its not like there was anything worth watching on anyway. Does tv really get worse and worse each year, or is it my imagination??

No, Edd, sadly, it is not your imagination.

We have gone from having 4/5 channels with sweet Fanny Adams on them, to 200+ channels, pretty-much all of which have nothing at all worth watching on them.

You get the odd documentary which will have a smidgen of something of interest contained within it, but unless you like programmes about stupid, bossy americans who are doing houses up, or cookery, or a couple of daft women telling you that your dress sense is awful, then there's literally nothing on, on the TV.

Early evening, there's the soaps (YAwwwwwn!) if you are into that... (I'm not...) otherwise, you're stymied.

I am seriously thinking of getting shot of my television... after all, we are paying a small fortune for the License, and (IMO) geting little more than dross in return.

I have to agree.

But then I am a very selective viewer anyway so not really affected too much.

I lost some TV stations on cable, no biggie. Back on now.

Hope no people were injured....
