Hi to everyone this is my first post.

Is the reception in Sharrow good enough for Freeview? I ask this because I cannot get all the channels mentioned on the box. Do I need a new ariel or a booster?
All answers appreciated.

Hello pinheah -and welcome.
Freeview channels depend on where you live and the reception
ability of your aerial.Suggest you do a search on Google -just tap in Freeview and you should find a link with the available channels for Sheffield postcode areas.

Depends on what you mean exactly. You may be able to, if your aerial and cabling is up to the job. With a decent enough aerial you should be able to.

Your best bet would be to borrow a freeview box from someone and try it, if it doesn't work it could be you need an aerial upgrade and\or some connections checking on the cable.

Be aware also that some boxes are better than others at filtering out crap and pulling in weak signals.

Try borrowing a box and see what happens.
