View Full Version : Lottie and takara xxhunniixx 11-08-2007, 16:55 MUDBATH!! lmao http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1O5eOrB5-BQ http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=rgwI9R_NkpI baileys_mum 11-08-2007, 16:56 mmmmm, I bet your bathrooms a right mess after bathing them :hihi: xxhunniixx 11-08-2007, 16:57 takaras the one wallowing lol! medusa 11-08-2007, 16:58 Would you believe it- Molly's just done the same while we were out this afternoon! She has a sixth sense for finding mud wallows- and then she panics and lies down when you try to wash all of the mud off again. Looks like they were having a good time anyway- good stuff. xxhunniixx 11-08-2007, 17:02 http://s98.photobucket.com/albums/l250/xxhunniixx/?action=view¤t=Image049.jpg Lotti 11-08-2007, 17:32 Haha! Aren't they fab! What a fun week we're going to have... It's T's way of cooling down, what can I say? I can't stop her when she's clearly enjoying it so much she cleans it all off herself (with Eddy's help) so it doesn't matter to me! http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l250/xxhunniixx/Image053.jpg NOSE!!!!! katkin 12-08-2007, 11:01 Aww lotti Im glad hunnii found someone to doggy-sit her own little Lotti (I fell for her in a big way, but just havent got the room). Just shows how much your Taks has chilled out since being spayed, they looked to be having loads of fun together. Lotti 12-08-2007, 19:26 Oh she only arrived today K, that was when T went to meet her. She was fine with her in the park but STRESS when she entered the house!!! We're now chilled out, the stinky Lottie is laid on my left and T's laid on my right a lot more chilled out now, but still keeping her beady eye on Lottie! She's a strange dog, she's got no problem with Lottie going on her or Eddy's bed or even the sofa which isn't allowed anyway but is territorial in other ways (mainly me, and food) I think this week will be very good for Takara, she needs to get used to other dogs in her house and hopefully if this week goes well mum will agree to further visitors  Eddy's took himself off into another room - he's had enough of two mad bitches scrapping! They're a lot more settled now and T's accepted that Lottie's not going to take over the house! It's going to be a fun week.... katkin 12-08-2007, 20:22 It's going to be interesting- keep us posted. I'm interested because as you know I have a jealous dobe bitch who distances herself from other dogs and either ignores them or loathes them. In her case, we think it is fear aggression and weve learnt it is better to avoid confrontation with other dogs - she was atacked several times asa pup so is very wary of other dogs. She met the other half's nephews new boxer pup last sunday and they were fine together (mainly because Ailsa pretented he wasnt there). I had the opportunity of getting another smaller dog as couple of weeks ago (English Toy Terrier), but the other half decided it would not be a good idea as Ailsa would never settle. Me, I reckon she wouldve been mardy to begin with, they may have been some snarling and scary noises but handled properly (meeting on neutral ground, bot hdogs on leads, us not showing any stress etc) and allowing both dogs their own space initially, it could have worked, particularly as the other dog wouldve been a dog not another bitch. Anyway, hope you have a good week with 3 daft dallies xK Lotti 12-08-2007, 21:49 I was totally prepared for a bad start knowing Takara as I do, she loved her in the park, was angry that she was on her property, and then loved her when we went back to the park. In Takara's case, she's only ever had a very few dogs on 'her property' but once she realises they're here to stay, she settles. She took to Eddy absolutely fine - bearing in mind Eddy's dog aggressive and also took to Takara fine. This evening they've almost been playing - at first Takara was unsure and then, when she decided to play too, Lottie was unsure! (They play in the park, just not in the house) They're all asleep in the kitchen now, Lottie's crate is next to Takara and they all seem pretty happy! Walks are mad though  Lotti 12-08-2007, 23:20 Just thought I'd add (this'll wind your hubby up!) my friend has a weimie who is much like Takara but worse and like Ailsa in that she has fear aggression that comes from being attacked as a pup. My friend also has a dachshund and a Border collie :D all three dogs live in harmony :D |
