basically, we are a newly formed rock n roll band looking for sound venues (other than boardwalk, utb and west street to play)and not just sheffield but south yorkshire as a whole. I've been outta sheffield and only returned a few months ago and everythings changed. also, most places seem scared to put on bands that aren't Indie or whatever happens to be the current flash in the pan. Were a rock n roll band and put on a rock n roll show (as any of the venues we've played will testify- dove, utb, boardwalk) we're just running out of places to gig and so far have found only ONE band in Sheffield that have been sound with us- Deletreus, who we have and will be doing a few more shows with.

South yorkshire was a friendly and thriving musical place when I left for uni in 2002- has it changed so much since?

We are Sheffield Volkswagen Owners Club and we are looking for bands forour show 27 = 29 July.

We are a non profit making show so we cannot pay but we will give you some beer and you can have free camping to koin us for the weekend.

Our theme this year is 50's Rockabilly.
