We recently went to see Harry Black, a very old friend of my husbands.

He plays the Banjo and has done so for over 30 years travelling all over the world, he is currently playing with a Jazz Band.

I have heard his tapes in hubbies car for years now and never actually seen him play live, he has been poorly, which is why we went to see him, he is thankfully on the mend and picked up his stunning banjo to play me a few songs.

I have always just seen the banjo in the 'when Im cleaning windows' light, but this was something to see and hear and I am now most deffo a big banjo fan !!!

Anyone know where a banjo is played in Sheffield guys, I would love to go and have a listen ?
