the chazter   10 #1 Posted August 10, 2007 just had to vent my anger about this one.  MY mother in law has been diagnosed with terminal lung & brain cancer . so she is on many drugs . at the moment she is staying at our house so we can care for her.we informed her G.P & all was ok . the local chemist have been delivering her medication to her . then today we were waiting for it but it did,nt arrive by 5 p m. we rang them they told us they had taken it to her own address by mistake.but nobody in [HELLO] SO THE DRIVER HAD PASSED IT TO An OLD WOMEN [no name , no address , nobody signed for it . the area my mother in law lives in is known for its drug culture . there must be some system in place for this type of mistake?. they have my name , phone no ,address etc but didnt even know who they had given the drugs too. luckly we traced the person and got them back but it could have been anyone???? will be having words with G.P on monday i was fuming just had to get it off my chest. I've lost count of the number/variety of ****-ups I've experienced with my local "L" chemist when I've used their prescription service.  If I wasn't such a dozy, forgetful, beggar I'd never use them, but stick to collecting the prescriptions myself and taking them to Boots.
