I've just moved into a place off Howard road and there's a female tabby/white cat that introduced herself right away. She comes in my window and hangs out for a while and then leaves. Was wondering if anyone knows the cat? I haven't fed her because I don't need a new stray, I already had to leave my last one with my Mum when I moved!
Please dont feed her Stainboy, as you dont want to encourage someones pet away from its home, but there is nothing to stop you giving it a cuddle when ever you fancy:love:
If she's friendly then there's every possibility that she's just visiting because she likes you!
There's no reason to think that she's a stray if she's voluntarily leaving after a snuggle and she's in good condition.
One of mine goes visiting- it's good for him and the people who enjoy his snuggles.

Oh, that may very well be a cat from my house! I live around were Fulton Rd meets Howard Rd and we've got an over friendly female white/tabby cat, who's out and about 60% of the day. You description defiantly sounds like her :)
If it is her, be careful as she'll start begging for attention and hugs if she thinks you might give them ;)
There seem to be a few very similar looking cats around here. No idea of gender and friendly-nes level, but I think there are two others that roam around and look similar.

Sorry I didn't reply right away I've not got tinternet in the flat yet and been using it in the library. It's so villagey round here with the library being shut on Tues and Thurs ;)
S'ok I've been resisting feeding her, don't worry about that :) I did offer her water a couple of times but she wasn't impressed. Ockeroid, does yours hate being picked up? I've had to pick her up a couple of times to put her outside when I've been going out and she cries and struggles. She comes back though so it can't put her off me too much! Apart from that though she's very friendly, another thing she does is jump on my lap and start kneading me with her paws as though I'm some dough being shaped into a loaf of bread!
Kitty123, 7 weeks, sounds like ages away but you probably have loads to do before you move. I don't find Netto as cheap as it looks, it might be the kind of shopping I'm doing but I didn't feel like I got much for a tenner last time I was in there. When I got about £30 worth at Tescos it felt like a better deal. Will probably do online shopping as soon as the internet's on, pushing a trolley back from Tescos wasn't fun!
