I have a young house rabbit who will hopefully be getting a friend when she's settled down from being spayed. She has a big plastic cage at the moment but I'm wanting to get a bigger one for when the new bun arrives. She spends the day in her cage while I'm at work and is out of her cage from when I get home until I go to bed.
Can anyone recommend anywhere that sells large indoor cages? I'd prefer to order online so it can be delivered. Does anyone else have a house rabbit with a wooden cage? I wouldn't rule out a wooden cage, but I do find the plastic one easy to clean.
Thanks for any suggestions.
www.zooplus.co.uk or try ebay, I got some good ones off there.
zooplius also sell playpens which attatch to the cage to give extra playroom. You can get floor protectors from wilkinsons to lay underneath to keep your carpets clean too.

Thanks Sooz. I'll have a look.
Is there a cage you would recommend for two rabbits? I want to make sure I get the right one. I'll definitely get a playpen too.
Depends on size of the rabbits.
There are 100cm ones on sale on ebay for £28 (just brought one) one of those with an attached playpen and free range time are OK for two small/medium bunnies.
Search indoor rabbit cages. The seller is good....used him before.

Thanks. The one I have is 117 cm long so it's quite big anyway, but with putting two in I want to make sure they've got plenty of room. I think Bella is probably going to be a medium rabbit and obviously don't know yet what the new one will be but assuming either small or medium. I'll have a search on Ebay and see what I can find. :)
Been on Ebay today and cant find anything bigger than the 100cm one.
Some people use 48" dog crates and create multi levels.
