I have seen a flat for rent on Batemoor which I really like, the thing is i'm not sure what the area's like. Its on White Thorns Drive and it says the area is a decent area, but would like to know more

I used to live on the same road - Whitethorns Drive - years ago and I lived above a drug dealer. He often got broken into and frequently had fights and arguments with clients.
There were used syringes outside the building at times.
I had a friend who lived in the maisonettes and her boyfriend was a dealer too.
I had someone come and try and sell me an intercom system for the flats which they insisted would be fitted and I wouldn't know if anyone visited if I didn't pay £160 to have it installed.
Though I found the area to be quiet I also found it to be rough due to drugs and crime.
