:loopy:thought the title would get some lookers...lol...my question..ive got a black cat called shadow shes a female and about 7month old , shes started staying outside longer at 1st she would hardley ever go out ,a real house cat now shes like a teenage girl :rant:ya never see em..lol..as shes going out more is she old enough to mate with as im planning on getting her dun. As ive seen a few other cats hanging around my area and im not sure of the age that cats start courting..lol :hihi:

She is definately old enough now, unless you want her to be a mummy i would move fast on it.

get her done, ASAP, please, for her health's sake, before she gets in kitten, and you have all the associated problems with a litter of kits.

If she is tiny it won't do her any good at all having kittens, its not fair on her.

ok thanks alot..i,ll get her done..i thought the could have kittens un till 9 to 12 months i guess i was wrong..lol

Some cat breeds (inc Siamese) are early developers and can come into season at 4 months. Others are late developers. Generally around 6 months is the time to spay. Wegies and Maine Coons are often later coming into season around 8-9 months which I assume is simething to do with their size. Time to get your shadow done, methinks
