Does anyone know why the fire bridgade were on Bradfield Road yesterday afternoon? They had the road closed and we were stuck in the traffic there...couldn't find out what had happened.

No sign of smoke.

Possibly flying debris, fallen trees or something? T'was quite windy, n'est pas?

They were also on Charles street in the city centre too about 2.30pm.

Two engines and a polica van and they were cordoning the road off.

I was in Hillsborough at lunchtime, and the fire brigade and police had been called to some scaffolding which looked like it was going to collapse.

It was to do with the indian place that nearly burnt down a couple of months ago, think it was the scaffolding and part of the building.
