The Spanish for sloth is 'perezoso' which means 'lazy', incidentally - which seems an apt pseudo/hispanic term for this fascinating creature
But, I wondered, has anyone actually ever seen a genuine three-toed sloth in its natural habitat?

I've seen one up close in a tree in South America. At least I think I did. I didn't count its toes. It might have been a 7 toed sloth for all I know, all the way from Dorset.
Come on Sam Mig own up, you've really lost the plot now first it was a Llama, now a TT sloth, what next ? maybe a who's spotted Gemma thread, or my mate once met the Duke of Darnall, or even the ultimate. I have a mate who is old enough to have seen United win something, and just to even things out, I have a mate who is so old he can remember Wednesday going trough a season without the fans wanting the chairman sacked.....mmm on second thoughts there's more chance of finding that Unitedite.
Merry Christmas Mick, and keep up the writing.

Thanks, owdlad, and the same to you my man. Merry Christmas.
As for the writing, I'm having a bit of a rest through the festive period, but will see what I can dig out in the New Year.
