Runnign Win XP and Internet Explorer version 6.0. I normally use FIREFOX but open Explorer when ever I want to check my 2nd MYSPACE account, as trying to do it in Firefox logs me out of my primary one each time even in different tabs...

The problem is Internet Explorer every time you click a link it temporarily freezes, hard drive goes crazy with activity, and it will finally load the page after about 10 seconds or more. This happens on most web sites but especially on MYSPACE...there is no smooth jump to the links like Firefox does, but a good 10 second delay before Explorer starts to respond to the link I have selected.......any ideas? Can Internet Explorer not run smoothly if FIREFOX is also running?

Try upgrading to Internet Explorer 7 and see if that fixes the problem.

Or possibly use something like ccleaner to selectively clean out the temporary files to do with IE?
