I would like to add filters to prevent me receiving mail from, for example, rbs.co.uk. Tiscali appear to have started addressing this but I can't seem to get 'in'. When trying to add a filter, I get returned to the home page. I may have to contact Tiscali. I don't have account with either RBS or Halifax and am fed up of being asked to supply account details so they can 'bring their records up to date' Blocking is no use as they appear to change a character in long e.mail addresses daily. Any advice would be appreciated.

you could try http://www.spamihilator.com/ and train it to block messages based on content

or have a look at http://www.poptray.org/ (http://www.poptray.org/index.php) not used this one myself but I've heard it's not bad

Spamfighter (http://www.spamfighter.com) works well for me. Don't have to train it too much as it connects to everybody else that uses it, so it blocks stuff that they've blocked too. It's only blocked 8 emails that I actually wanted, and that's after 18 months of use.

Thanks esme. I seemed to be loading spamihilator but when trying to add plugins, I keep getting 'Plugin could not be loaded; misnamed Filter .dll. Anyway, thanks for the suggestions to all who replied. I'll keep plugging away (or in) (or trying to). Mike
