i am look for info on th wells family that lived at 80 harworth st nether hallam in 1901

sarah jane wife
herbert
alice a
george w
harold
edith
lucy
and grand children
mabel
robert
i know that harold move to worksop with his wife cassandra atkin also from sheffield.

Dont know if this is any use to you at all but we knew a Robert Wells lived at Wincobank with his wife Pat had two girls sadly Bob died a couple of years ago would guess in his sixtys.Could be one of the grandchildren mentioned.

have you checked the 1901 census or the1891 census. you may find other names on there that are easier to follow up on.
i went on the 171 census this week and found my grt/grt/grt/grandmother annd grandfather,both born in 1837.

i do have all the census from 1850 onwards what im really looking for is the familys of the children my family is from harold and i think i found someone from amy side (one of george and sarah janes children that was living away from home in 1901)
there was 10 children in all missing from the 1901 census is amy born 1876
henry born 1877
lily born 1878
emma born 1888 but she was dead by 1901

I wondered if Robert and Mary Wells who lived at Darnall in 1901 may be connected to your Wells family? (With a grandchild called Robert I thought there could be a connection).

Mary was nee Bowman and from Chesterfield. They had at least one son called Clifford born 1903.

This Wells family were still in Darnall in 1926. I'm hoping to find other children.

The Wells family had left 80 Harworth St by 1911. SOURCE KELLYS DIRECTORY.:confused:

jayne Arthur, there was a family named Wells lived on Gloucester st Broomhill in the early thirties, the only thing I remember there were 2 sons .1 was named Harold [ I think! ]
