i have recentley bought a digital camera, having trouble understanding it,but just messing around with it to learn how to use it .
now can anyone tell me which are the best memory cards to get, they vary from £20 TO £80, is it a case of the more expensive they are the better they are,i am not bothered about having mega memory.

The kind memory of memory card you'll want depends on the type accepted by your camera.
My preferzence goes to cameras that accept Compact Flash.
For CF: 128MB ~ 40£

its a samsung 4.0 mega pixels digimax 410 9 photo frame
with memory cards the more memory they have the more expensive they get .example.a 32mb would be the cheapest one then the 64mb .a bit dearer then 128 mb .dearer still .depends how much memory you want your camera to store .mine i bought a 64 mb from index shop was 19.99 .some shopscan charge about 30 quid .there are different types mine is a sd card that stands for secure digital it is fujifilm make memory card ..advise shop around shops vary with prices

A search on google will give plenty more choices and prices. I would suggest that a 128Mb card would be ok for you as you say you don't expect to take loads of pics.

Neither have I. I suggest Jessops because they are local and some of their staff know what they are talking about,which might be a easier for a beginner. I personally never use them.
