My friend had all the syptoms you listed and was told by her doctor that there is a virus going around. (It's always a 'virus', so there's nothing they can give you!)

there is definately a bug going on - i'm a first aider at work and am sending people home left right and centre with symptons just like those you've described.

Yes, Ive heard two people on SF, mention how ill they had been,and a whole family on our street has had it .

i had a major sore throat last week and felt awful and had a temperature......feel great now though.....but i did eventually need antibiotics:(

ive been off since friday with sickness and ahem the othe, but its more due to the side effects of the prescription drugs im on! doc assures me it'll pass...

ive had the same symptems except for the sore throat i didnt get that now i think my sister may be getting the same because she says her throat is hirting .

I myself have been off work with the same as above. i started saturday with really bad pains and sickness. I thought it was a dicky ice cream but looks like everyones getting it.

one of my staff has just been signed off with mumps, had very similar symptoms

Sounds like the bosses at my place of work, anyhow things going round at moment .....
1 chicken pox
2 Measels (sp)
3 Tonsilites (sp)
4 Mumps
5 Some sort of stomache virus that everyone mysteriously gets when weather is nice, and want a couple of days of work:D

Last week I had to have one day off (all my work would allow :-() coz I had what felt like a beach ball for a head, nausea and a sore throat. This has developed into a cold, tickly throat and chesty cough - oh the joy!
