From the top of my head I know the old 22 (now number 20) used to go on London road, before going further up towards Nether Edge, but I cant say for sure if that bus still takes the old route. I'm sure someone else can better answer.

Just checked for you franc.

The number 20 runs from Hillsborough interchange, through City Centre and up London Road, on through Heeley and then to Hemsworth.

From Hillsborough to City is a bit of a roundabout route though.

From the city centre you can catch any number of buses - 75, 76, 97, 97A... They're all very frequent and you can catch them all from High Street (outside Nat West) and the Peace Gardens.

Hope that helps!

The SYPTE journey planner is a handy site for working out bus routes and journey times here is the link:-
