Anyone know what has happened at the top of Fargate at about 7am this morning? The little alley way at the side of the new River Island was taped off and was being guarded by a police man.

They caught someone smoking a cigarette in a public place and a police marksman was forced to execute him.

thanks! that was a nice let down! was all excited then! thought some nosy neighbour had come come up with an answer and was going to tell me it was something exciting!

I saw it, and I was going to amble over and ask someone, but I didn't want to be seen as a nosy busybody.

Sadly, the body of a male was found by patrolling Officers in the early hours of this morning.

Obviously, out of respect for him and his relations, no more information the incident shall be passed by me via this Forum.
