which brand of hair straightners would you recommend ?

were in sheffield can you buy futura hair striaghteners ?

I hope this doesnt break forum rules !!!!! just a desperate to find the right straighteners

and if any of the ladies on this forum could give me some advice on hair straighteners it would be greatly appreciated

Ive hear some horror stories on the ghd front eg bursting into flames only lasting about 3 months etc etc

I'm sure this has been done before so you could try searching for more answers. I've got GHD - I think you can only get them from hairdressers or on-line. Apparently they used to have a bad reputation (on watchdog or something) and are not exactly cheap. I use mine everyday and have no complaints.

See my reply under another section. Had my ghd for over a year, well used and not bursting into flames. Whatever problems GHD had they appear to be sorted out.

PS I don't think you're meant to put similar posting in different sections of the forum though!

I have Remington Ceramics - (Remington Power)
They were nearly £20 from boots but boots have 1/2 price deals on electrical beauty at the moment... They're really good, they've lasted ages.... Only problem is that they smell when they're heating up, but other than that they're great!

asked my hairdresser about that shortly after getting my ghd's - apparently it was a faulty batch, but that was a year or so ago anyway. never had any trouble with mine.

Mine are Braun gas ones. Ded handy when travelling.

Has anybody else noticed how many hotels put the mirror miles away from any sockets?

And I can sort my hair out if I get rained on :D
