Hi folks
Does anyone know of anywhere decent? I've had loans through IF and Cahoot previously but hear that you can get some better deals elsewhere on the 'net - any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
How long do you need the loan for and for how much?
Getting a 0% credit card for 6-9 months could be an option, if you can stick with repaying it off before the free time are up.

Playing devil's advocate.....
Unless the loan is for a genuine emergency, what about saving up for what you want to buy?
That's the most competitive rate you'll find - save the money in a deposit accouint and they'll be paying YOU interest!

How about working out how much you think your repayments will be on the cheapest loan you can find, then extending your mortgage by the loan amount, but making the payments as per the loan you didn't take out.
This effectively gives you your loan at the lower rate of the mortgage. Not only that, but now you'll be in a position to take mortgage 'holidays', as your lender will regard you as having 'overpaid'.
Don't just put it on the mortgage and make minimum payments though. The interest over that length of time is rather high!
Or use kelkoo.com to compare their advertisers. They do the credit card comparisons too.
If you secure the loan against your house then the rate will be much, much lower, so try the people you have got your mortgage with first.
That might be what Strix said.
Nah, my answer was far more convoluted, Nick!
you could try this site:
