Yes I have just had a look on the site,seems to be very interesting even though it is still being updated.
Anything that helps the motorist has to be welcomed.:thumbsup:

LOL - I clicked on this link to look at "The Masterplan" and it came back "page not found". That explains a lot .....

City Centre Roadworks provides information on major transport improvements as part of the City Centre Masterplan.

I was showing the page to my boss this afternoon as he lives out in Hathersage and we had a little snow where we work at Heeley. Last time we had snow it took him an hour to get from Heeley to Whirlow, due to useless drivers (presumably). So he would be interested in seeing if the snow is affecting the highter and southern parts.

We both have seen more cameras. Are they also council ones? There is one on a lamppost just outside the bikeshop at woodseats. And the boss thinks there's one up at whirlow somewhere.

I would like to know if these are cameras which have not come on line yet, or if they belong to another agency, and if we can access them too.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

These have been online for a few months now, its the traffic flows that should prove to be interesting, if well implemented

LOL that was very witty and quite true,but maybe the site will help us all to get around more freely.
I also think it woul'd be better if they were indeed live and then you can get a better idea how things are stacking up.

I just like the concept of being able to watch Sheffield in realtime from the comfort of your own space.
