Hi i have never done any knitting before but would like to knit some cardigans for my daughter who is 9months old.

There are several knitting groups around Sheffield, and the Wool Baa at Hunter's Bar is small person friendly too! Jill will start you off in the right direction, and help you out when you get stuck...

It's the door that gets stuck - once you're in, you'll be there a while! :hihi:

will i be an odd one out..?? im only 21 and dont know many people my age willing to knit:hihi::hihi::hihi:

Maybe going to a group would be the best idea, i have just looked up a few patterns and its alot harder than i first thought.

Might have made her one in time for her 21st birthday...lol :hihi: hope she doesnt grow to much from now till then...:hihi::hihi:

The Forum meet at Jill's Wool Baa every last Wednesday of the month (also available at other good wool shops). We have a right laugh, and knit sometimes too, if you can get in for our zimmer frames, you're very welcome to join us :D
