Yes i have done this walk about 5 time's, i started in the lay-by on the right shortly after passing the Ladybower inn (from Bamford).

Walk is about a 6 mile circular, the highlight is the view at Whinstone Lee Tor. in the middle distance is the twin hump's of Crook hill and Win hill with losehill and Mam tor beyond, that's on a clear day ! oh and it's almost impossible to get lost !

This walk is amazing when snow has settled in winter. Half way round there is a nice sheltered barn with seat if it's raining in which to eat your sarnies.

Much better to do the walk midweek if you can as it can be extremely busy at weekends with both walkers, daytripper's and mountain biker's, or failing that an early start.

I did this walk on Monday, if it's the same one you're on about. Is it a circular walk? Cutthroat Bridge - Whinstone Lee Tor - Ladybower Tor- Back to Cutthroat Bridge (going back behind Ladybower pub).
If it is, it was great. The views from Whinsone Lee Tor are amazing, as Niklek says.
