What is you favourate current nightclub in Sheffield and why?

myne is plug reflective night always a mad night with top djs its proper boh ill tell theeeeeeeeeeeee as dj d no says lol

DQ on a Saturday for Threads is now my choice over Sonic Boom at Ledders although that's still good. Wed are good as well at Ledders but v rarely go with it being a school night. Fridays are good at Corp.

DQ pretty much has it sorted, Plug are putting Justice on though......

Saturday nights at Corp. Wish Stocky still DJed then we could get some proper Death Metal played.

Vibe, not cos of the vibe in there (!) but the music - easily the best IMO. I just wish they wouldn't let so many dikeds in!

Corp - On the extremely rare Saturday night that I go out.

Arches and Bed for me... shame they're both no longer with us.. not been that into the alternatives of the last few years.

Void and Shhh might be what I've been looking for tho.. had a fantastic nite in there not that long ago when a friend was DJing.. so theres hope yet (or are they both flood damaged?)

Forgot my "why" - because they were friendly, booked the right DJs, had the right kind of crowd and I had some of the best times of my life in them.

Arches: had the best layout and atmosphere of any club I've been to. Gatecrasher at its peak wasn't a scratch on this, nor was Bed. Headcharge is still one of the top 2 or 3 nights I've ever graced.

Not been to Plug or DQ before.

Only ever been to Embrace, Leadmill and Corp in Sheffield i'm afraid. Both were good.

Leadmill's not my scene really.

I used to go to Gatecrasher every Friday and Saturday in the summer when I have no football Sunday mornings. Though this is no more, sob sob I'd say no it's probably Plug for the music rather than anything else. I like the Leadmill when they have Indie night, is it still Wednesday I use to go all the time a couple of years ago when I was at sixth form. But I can't go now with having to get up for work.

As a venue, the Fez. Proper underground.

Fo the music, currently Grounded at the Plug. The best lineups to be seen in Sheffield.

Bed / Music Factory / Palais. By far was the best club. In terms of quality nights, layout, sound system and vibe. I will mention vibe simply for Jam Factory, Music Factory (Todd Terry), Compulsions (Wednesday student night) Make it Funky. If only people were as open minded as back in the day. :roll:
