I posted this earlier but I would like its own posting to see the results. During the bad weather and winter months, would any of you golfers use and indeed have used, the latest golf simulators. They are very realistic and you keep dry too! Please let me know what you feel.

When I lived in Lincoln, we used a golf sim at a local club.

Although we were in a dark room with the image of a famous golf course in front of us, it was GREAT fun.

You could nip out to the bar and order a round of drinks. There was 3 os us there but it was expensive and take a lot longer than a normal round.

Would be interesting to hear if anyone has had a go on one.

I know somebody who is getting one installed at home for seven grand. They're top class entertainment and the simulation of ball flight is pretty accurate. No replacement for actually seeing the thing fly, BUT they're very realistic and great fun to use.
