We are (usually) guitar,bass,drums & vocals, play pubs around Sheffield, do 60's,70's,blues,R&B,some modern stuff. Our drummer has just quit but we have gigs booked. We rehearse every week in Deepcar village hall so you need your own car. We don't mind how old (or young) you are but it helps if you are familiar with the material. We do about 120 numbers in a lot of different styles,e.g. songs by -Beatles,Stones,SmallFaces,Animals,Who,SpenserDavie s,Bowie,Clash,OceanColourScene,Stereophonics and loads more.
We also do all of the usual bluesy standards.
We are a good-time band and like to get people up dancing.
We don't do any heavy rock unless you count the odd Bryan Adams or Bad Co song.
We really need somebody who is into it for the joy of it like us (although of course we don't play for free !). We have gigs booked so could do with someone asap.
We would be happy to change our repertoire or style to suit the right person. If you can do the blues and r&b, then that would be enought to get started.
