rubydazzler 30-07-2007, 10:25 AM I'm not sure if it's Parklands or Balmoral Grange but yesterday afternoon, I went to look at a flat that a friend has just bought on there.
If it wasn't so far away from everything, I'd buy one myself. I know it was a good afternoon weatherwise, but it's lovely up there and the VIEWS!!! absolutely stunning!
jo2310 30-07-2007, 03:29 PM Yes it is lovely up here especially on a sunny day.
We are very close to everything you would ever need in my opinion. It is 5 mins to city centre,10 mins to meadowhall, 15 mins to Crystal Peaks and 5 mins to J33 motorway. It is a 10 min walk to the tram stops and is 5 mins from Bramall Lane and 10 mins to Hillsborough in a car.
rubydazzler 30-07-2007, 07:08 PM Sorry, I meant so far away from everything in my life, work, other family etc. I'm starting to think about my old age now :hihi: when I may not be able to walk very far or drive :help:
Anyway to get back to your house sale, I commend both those estates, they've been designed very well, plenty of parking even for the flats etc ... and it always seems so quiet there as well as stunning views pver the city and across to the moors, from a lot of the properties.
shabba 17-08-2007, 02:25 PM were is S2, what areas surround it.

jo2310 17-08-2007, 02:51 PM The property is just off Prince of Wales Road at Manor. It is a new property on the Parklands Estate. Surrounding areas are Intake, Gleadless etc.

Take a look at these pics. These houses are for sale on the same estate so it will give you an idea of what the houses look like. My house is 2 storey though but the rooms are bigger than any of the ones above. The third link is to a house opposite ours. It's a nice quiet cul-se-sac.
jo2310 27-09-2007, 02:52 PM The house is now on the market with property plus.
Please take a look on www.agentsforhomes.co.uk
I have some brochures available if anyone is interested.
