right, so ive just moved to nether edge recently, and ive noticed that there seems to be quite a few small ish hospitals in nether edge. i was just wondering if anyone knowswhat they are called? thanks.

They're all departments within the main Nether Edge Hospital.

which is where abouts in nether edge? i live on the old nether edge hospital site, and there is a big ish looking one next to my building still, think its for mental health patients. is this the main one? thanks.

The oldest buildings on that site belonged the Ecclesall Bierlow Workhouse.... nice to know that the poorest people in society were surrounded by countryside!
I'm not sure what NHS facilities remain.
The maternity hospital was demolished entirely I think.
There was a large geriatric unit at Nether Edge...I'm not sure if that was closed as well?

me too!!! also looke dfor a house up there 2/3 yrs ago - very expensive though so didnt! the houses/apartments had their own complex and gym etc... cool

yeh they are nice, we are only renting, but dont think you've missed out cos all the properties have been built by what seems to be a monkey company (gleeson) and there have been loads of problems with our flat. would never ever buy from gleeson. gym and pool is cool!
