Hi I am thinking about applying for a job in the city centre, at Sheffield Hallam City Campus actually, and I was wondering what I would have to do about parking? How much does it cost to park in town? I know that Hallam doesnt have any car parking spaces for staff so I'd have to pay. Can you buy monthly car park tickets are anything like that for cheaper than paying daily?

so there's not one carpark in the city centre i take it? helpful replies only please im just wanting to know how much it costs to park in the city centre i wasnt asking for a permament free space

they few and far betwen where in town are you wanting to be?? there a few privite car parks scattered around edge of city centre.some near westbar police staion ext think they about £50 a mounth for privite.

I often wonder why people spend valuable minutes typing the request into a Forum when a 30 second search reveals all the info one needs :loopy:

I'd recommend driving to a park and ride and tramming it in.

Parking is impossible in the city centre. Dont be tempted, thinking u can get away with parking anywhere cos you will get a ticket within 20mins. If i were you, drive somewhere in the tram route and just get the tram into the city....

Ive been living in the city centre for a couple of years now, and after a year i sold my car, beacuse it was to much of a hassel and costing me to much to park it in the city...
