There are some rather nice patterns in the next IK (http://www.interweaveknits.com/default.asp). Lots of cables, lovely sock patterns, lots of colour.

I like the red dress, but I'd never manage to knit it or wear it.

The socks look great, but probably too difficult for me.

Ooooh I like a lot of those. Fall issues are my favourite. There seems to be a lot of 100% wool and merino in those patterns too.

I like the web project called 'Flying Buttress' socks. Not for the pattern. Just the name *smirk*

I too like the Autumn issues of knitting magazines. Last year I had a subscription to IK via the site direct, but found delivery hit or miss. Where can I get IK in the UK either via subs or on a one off basis?

I've had a subscription from Winghams and from PM Woolcraft (PM Woolcraft is the one I have now). Both have been excellent. You can also buy IK from Borders, though I'm not sure where the nearest one to you will be.

I buy my IK from Jill or Get Knitted. The preview has lots of stuff that I'm excited about: the Tangled Yoke cardigan is definitely going to the top of my to-knit list (I've coveted it since I saw it on Eunny's blog).
