Hmm... Well, they're OK, but I do prefer custard creams.

Well....i suppose a chocolate hobnob would be acceptable. A plain one is really only good for propping up the short leg on my wobbly desk  :loopy:

Im with alex - custard creams are about the best biscuits going (although some manufacturers skimp on the custard bit which is bad bad BAD  :suspect: :nono: )

I am partial to the odd ginger nut from time to time too - although the stock level at my local supermarket suggests that I am pretty much alone with that one ;) :P

welcome to the forum

Actually thinking about it my favourite is the chocolate biscuit without the biscuit bit.:loopy:

Ahh you see this is a whole other thread in itself, did the good people at mcvities sell out by bringing out the hobnob variants, oris change a positive sign of progress?

:?

No, it's probably more a sign that the plain ones are crap, and the chocolate makes them at least edible :P

Can't believe you've mentioned hobnobs, now I can't get them out of my mind, I've got to go out in the freezing cold to Co-op to get some...

Don't panic UniB - you can always use a folded up piece of paper or a beer mat to level out that desk ;)

That's an outrage, if I were you I'd write to your MP and complain about the substandard Co-Op in your area.

Hobnobs/chocolate hobnobs are the bees knees as they are the ultimate dunking biscuits. They can endure multiple dunks unlike biscuits like rich tea etc. Didn't Peter Kay refer to Hobnobs as the SAS of the biscuit world?! :D

I prefer chocolate hobnobs btw!!!

Caramel wafers are what I call a decent biscuit. but I think Jaffa cakes are the best.....I don't buy them as a rule 'cos the whole packet goes in one!
Not too keen on hobnobs, plain or choccy.

Hobnobs are great - but I daren't buy them because they just go too fast!

I have a very vivid 'biscuit memory' from being a child - I had a large story book which I adored, and have a very strong memory of reading some of the stories whilst munching through either Royal Scot or 'Oat Crunchy' biscuits, they being my favourites as a kid.

Jaffa cakes are the finest 'munch' by far ...

But for dunking you need to have Rich tea...but you need to get the knack right so the floppy bit dunt end up at the bottom, ...thus ruining your cuppa!

My latest descovery are Digestive chocholate caramels...to try them is to love them!
