Can't say that I'm afraid of dying, per say - more dying alone.

Pretty scared of heights (especially unsecured ladders), which is pretty stupid for someone who loves climbing/mountaineering!

Heights for me too, which was a pain when I visited the grand canyon !

Just been watching the video on this page (http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/09/27/tv_mast/) with people going up TV mast and safety gear is optional !

Mind you the scenery in this video (http://www.videobash.com/video_show/incredible-base-jump-3861) when they jump off a cliff looks great, takes your mind off things, although when the guy is standing on the edge its a bit worrying !

I wonder what those guys get paid and how they get insurance? I'm not particularly bothered about heights, but just watching that had me hyperventilating!

It's amazing how many people are scared of clowns.

I'm not keen, after watching a horror film/ show with a chap in it who gets a clown mask put on his face with glue whilst he is asleep, and he can't get it off, and suffocates! (Horrid!)

I can't deal with heights. I am scared of spiders, and I can't stand being restricted/ closed-in (a sort of claustrophobia).

I had to make a good show of not being scared of spiders in front of the Granddaughter, cos she freaks out at them, and I didn't want to reinforce that fear.

I used to be dreadfully freaked out at thunder and lighning, too, but I am not so bad these days.

A friend of mine does not like Spider's either. If she does see one, she physically feels sick. I recall her saying this one time a colleague who knew of her phobia or fear greeted her & planted a spider on her shoulder as a prank :nono: to see her reaction. The effect was that traumatic she fainted! She says she cannot pin point it anything not even too a childhood trauma involving them just that she has always feared them.

i know this sounds strange but iam scared of someone knocking on my door, as soon as someone knocks on my door doesnt matter day or night... i freeze, my hands shake, my heart racers i go all red and hot and normally hide behind something like the sofa, untill my husband answers it and then im okay, the problem is when im home alone... i have been known to panic and call the police if they keep on knocking.
once a paperboy was posting the paper when i was just mopping the floor infront of the door when i screamed so loud, the poor lad ran off, he didnt come again :hihi:
i was robbed a few years back.... never really got over it.
that and wasps and deep water.

it is awful but it doesnt happen all too often these days... thankfully, thing is i absolutley love halloween and like to treat the kids coming to my door but no matter how many times i tell myself that night when someone knocks on its just trick or treaters i still react the same, so i go out now with the kids to avoid it.

I can't really think of anything day to day that I'm that sort of scared about. I'm not scared of heights, wasps, spiders or anything like that. I don't like cockroaches, but I'm not scared of them.

I've got a deep underlying fear that one day my painkillers will stop working though, because they are the one thing that stops my existence from being a living hell.
