Don't be fooled by the name. The VibroGym is the Originally Plate, formerly known as POWER PLATE. This is the machine that was used for all the research that is widely reported in the press, and this is the machine used by many famous celebrities. The major difference between the VibroGym and the current 'Next Generation' Power Plate platform is that the VibroGym Domestic and VibroGym Professional both use stainless steel in the main body while the Power-Plate is manufactured out of reinforced plastic. In a piece of equipment which vibrates up to 50 times a second the main manufacturing material is of critical importance. The difference in performance between the two machines caused by the type materials used will be reflective in the overall results.

These machines are a copy of "the original" and are made or reinforced plastic,whereas Vibrogym is made of high quality stainless steel.The medical tests were done on the "original power plate" which is now known as the VibroGym.
