I brought my digital camera on-line because you can't get it cheaper in shops.

I bought a bra from the la senza sale on the website. That was only because I went into the shop and they said they weren't putting any of the bra's in my size on the sale. Got a good service from them aswell.

feel free to buy them via my website, thus earning me some nice commissions. I could even split them with you.

I do not buy on line because they want to know my visa card number and I am not prepared to give it, I could have bought a digital camcorder £100 cheaper from a place in Paris, but they would not accept the payment any other way. They don't trust me and I do not trust them, it is sad, but a fact of life.

I buy everything online... TV, home cinema, bikes, digital camera, flights, train tickets, theatre tickets, dvd's, office furniture and equipment, etc., etc.

I've never been ripped off and I'm not too worried about it even if it does happen in the future. The credit card company will almost always bear the cost of any fraud. If they didn't then everyone would stop using their cards and they'd be out of business.

I'm with Zamo on this one - I buy loads online. It's often much cheaper. I love booking holidays on line, you can look at all the options available before making a decision - much better than going to a travel agent where they just 'go off on one' as soon as you mention any destination. I organised a trip to 4 US cities with hotels and travel in between over the web and it worked a treat.

you are more likely to get your card ripped off in a resturant or petrol garage than on the net.

I got mine done in an indian restuarant, udesirables sell the numbers on, I didn't know anything had happened until I got a call from Fraud squad saying that someone had tried to buy £1000 of tyres over the phone. The banks have software that profiles your spend and if something crops out of the ordinary it triggers an alarm.

I don't think online fraud is too much of an issue for consumers these days. I agree with Mikey, there's far much chance of somebody ripping your number off in a shop.

Even if you do get stung the chances of the bank not absorbing the cost is really slim.

I buy online regularly, E-Bay especially!

Yes, I do buy online quite often. I do try to buy from places in the UK if possible though.
