You should log onto The People's Movement website, 'thepeoplesmovement.co.uk', there's loads of information about up and coming sporting events as well as all local clubs and activities you can take part in, in the city, including local runs, walks, dances, swimming, ice-skating, tennis... everything!

There is a newly opened 'Up & Running' shop in Sheffield, with information on local races on their website (use google and enter 'up and running sheffield' and you will see the link)
