We hear a lot about waiting lists and how bad the cleaning is in the hospitals well I want to congratulate the Royal Hallamshire, especially the Breast centre
9 weeks ago I saw my own doctor with a lump in my breast and in 9 weeks I have had all the tests and today recieved the letter to say I am all clear.
I am so greatfull with how the staff were so kind and quick at finding out what the lump was. I was so scared at the prospect of the clinic never mind the tests but the staff put you at ease so quickly.
We critisise the hospitals but I have always found them to be execlent.
I know personally I owe them a lot for putting my mind at rest so quickly and now Christmas and 2005 will seem better for me.
For any women or men out there that find a lump, go and see your doctor quickly, I found mind and the day after I went to see my GP. I am so happy I am ok but speed is crucial so don`t think is it me or should I waste their time I say JUST GO, get it sorted your life is worth too much to debate the issue.
Thank you to all the staff at the Breast Clinic.
