View Full Version : New Morrisons ad
Anybody seen the Morrisons ad with Denise Van Outen in it?
More double entendres than you can shake a stick at,"I like Fresh meat","Finished by hand".
I laughed out loud, the wife gave me 'the look' & shook her head;)
GothicCharm 24-07-2007, 20:14 :hihi: that's tickled me
KJ_VENOM 24-07-2007, 20:56 i want to know which Morrisons miss Outen shops at, maybe an accidental collision of trolley and hey presto it could be her lucky day :hihi:

Do you think I am hallucinating(not bad at 10.00pm;)) about the Double entendres or do you think Morrisons did them intentionally ?;):D
Yes an interesting advert - amazingly they almost convince you that their food is 'fresh' as she wades through fields in wellies and talks about loving fresh sandwiches with fresh fillings that are 'picked daily from the store' - I wondered how they were going to dodge the fact that their fruit and veg is the worst of any of the supermarkets!
wondertec 25-07-2007, 11:47 bring back sean bean!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AN all there fish is fresh not forzen. Yeah right funny how they said they had some forzen cod when i wanted some. It might not be lying but they are certainly streching the truth a fair bit.
I'd like to have seen her wading through chickens packed in to a shed saying all our products are cheap because we don't give a crap about the quality.
mr contrite 25-07-2007, 11:52 Still preferred her on the big breakfast.
alchresearch 25-07-2007, 12:15 I've been to three Morrisons stores and they all look only slightly better than Netto.
Still preferred her on the big breakfast.
I wouldn't mind her for breakfast,I wonder how she likes her eggs ?

Fertilised, had to be done:help:
fluffystuff 25-07-2007, 12:28 I am more inclined to believe Denise Van Outen shops in Morrisons, than Sharon Osbourne shops in Asda though

magicaljen 25-07-2007, 14:09 Hehe was just discussing this advert this morning! Tis so rude!:P
I want to know which Morrisons she shops at, it looks nothing like any of the ones I've been in.

I was waiting for that;)
Explains why all those shopping trolleys are abandoned all over Britain.
SpeedwayDan 25-07-2007, 22:57 yeah it's a joke, rebranding themselves yet some of their products are still so bad, their fruit and veg is by no means fresh
Morrisons 27-07-2007, 16:52 Yes I have seen the new advert. The fish that goes on our fish counters is fresh and never frozen. You can also buy frozen fish in all of our stores. But it is stating that all Fish on the counter is fresh.
The Fruit & Veg are prepared to a high standard, and now we have a new processing plant for fruit and veg quality should be improved significantly.

I'm sorry - I've always used Morrisons, but the fruit and veg is appalling. EVERY time I bring ANYTHING home, it's already got fur all over the bottom. It's also over packaged.
I just think you've got a dirty mind !
Or a sense of humour;):D
northernboy 28-07-2007, 06:53 Well I buy all my fruit and veg at my local Morrisons and never had a problem with any of it, plus there are some great bargains and 2-for-1 offers if you know where to look.

the new advert on tv is rubbish i went to morrison parkgate rotherham and asked the baker there for 3 fresh iced ringed donuts he replied yes i will just get you some 2 mins later he came back with them in a box and said " here you are and they will be defrosted by the time you get home "FRESH I THINK NOT SO WHY DONT YOU TELL YOUR CUSTOMERS THE TRUTH

hope so, afterall being sued for £5000 after someone found a nail in one of your sandwiches should put the wind up you.

You don't know me or you would never accuse me of not having a sense of humour! I actually think it is an effective ad - I am well aware of marketing and advertising techniques . If you choose to believe that the ad is 'full' of double entendres etc. then do so if it entertains and thrills your small mind. Kindly restrict dialogue on this thread to the Morrisons ad - 'simple innit'.
