Predictable response , what about fighters from your own clubs? Or even fighters from other clubs you would like to watch?

Sunny Singh said " I find scott hickling and rowdy from afk good to watch....and amjed ....

Love to watch fighters who show emotions in the rings and use the crowd as motivation"

Interesting.

Scott Hickling is exciting to watch considering he is only a beginnner and an OLD git

Rowdie has absolute dynamite in his hands. I would confidently match him with ANY sheffield based kickboxer between 65kg and 70kg. I am quite confident that he has the power to KO any of them cold or even bust a few jaws. I am even confident that there are a few sheffield based middleweights (some of whom fought on the last showdown) who would not last a round with him.

Amjed has a big punch and a chin like granite! Trouble is he is LAZY and can be like a flat battery in training. Anyone who gets Amjed on the right day can be in for a shock!

Out of the 3 mentioned above, Scot shows a lot of comical facial expressions when fighting and is quite fit for an old guy
Rowdie is quite simply cocky but has not always shown his true potential taking fights at a couple of weeks notice or coming straight back off holiday like he did in the first AFK show in september and ended up gassing in the last round.
Rowdie is just as good with his legs as with his fists of dynamite.
Unfortunately, Rowdie is only willing to compete if he is paid cash up front. Understandable as he is worth every penny.

Amjed can be cocky when he is winning and does all sorts of tricks , sticking out his chin, blowing kisses dancing in the ring , the works.
Sunny Singh is hillarious to watch and I recall in his British Title fight talking to his opponents cornerman while the fight was going on!!!

Where else can you find fighters like that ?
AFK!!!

out of the 3 mentioned which 2 would be a good match to watch if the two could be paired to fight

Hmm let me think,....

Rowdie Loughlin possibly BUT he demands to be paid , so unless the promoter is rich then hes a nono.
He has excellent boxing skills and punches well above his weight. He walks around at like 72kg but can cut down as low as 65kg.

Sunny Singh brings his character to the ring and dances about everywhere talking to his opponent while he is at it.

Scot Hickling is aggressive and although still only a beginner, you WILL see drama with him (hes NUTS)

Amjed is interesting but possibly not as exciting as the above 3. He can bang and can take a shot but all in all, I would say that Scott Hickling and Sunny Singh will give a good show.

Scott because he is MAD , Sunny because he is funny.

Yes have to agree with you Jediwarrior, I very much enjoy watching Max, Billie and Ollie!

Never seen Max fight but i have heard interesting things. Billie is not bad for a junior but more of a semi contact fighter I would say. She gave Georgia a good fight (I thought it was a Draw myself) but her style suits semi more.
Ollie as in Oliver Woolard ? Not really my cup of tea at all. Gets the job done but not entertaining at all in my opinion.Picks his points off accurately, decent workrate not bad at kicking either but unless youre his mate then I dont see much excitement there sorry guys.
Personally I like to see a fighter bring their character to the ring or show a bit of aggression/emotion or make an effort to knock people out.
Example on the K-1 circuit would be Jerome Lebanner, he either knocks someone out or he gets Knocked out himself :hihi:

how old is Billie?

Billie is 18 and is a fantastic fighter, she is really good at Semi Contact and is in the Great Britain team along with Max Ellis. Billie lost her fight in the last comp at the Octagon but the girl that beat her, Billie has beaten in semi contact a few times. The only person that is better (as far as i know) than Billie is a woman from Derby called Sharon Gill who is in her late 30's. Billie has fought her a few times and only lost by a couple of points every time. She is defo one to look out for now and in the future!!

She is lovely and a fantastic fighter. She works really hard and has done for many years with Graham Abdulla.

I dont think she is fighting, due to commitments with the GB Team but I am not 100% :suspect:

I think there is only Sam Fisher fighting in the ladies from the Sheffield Academy of Martial Arts and we all know who she is fighting!!:hihi:

My mistake , I thought she was a junior as she was matched with Georgia Devaney who is in year 10 at school.

max is a great fighter and won many comps and came 3rd in the world championships on his first attempt. Max can fight on both sides of body which not alot of people can and his timing is really good and has the power and speed to go with it max fights points ans continious . Billie has really come on in the past few years as in her strength timing and the way she trains she has alot to give in years to come as she is still young as well she likes her points fighting not a continious fighter. Oli i have not seen much of but i hear he is really good and strong and is always a hard competitor to fight always a good continious fighter. Sam fisher is a good fighter to strong agressive to she likes to compete and always gives it her all not seen many of her fights yet but hear good things.

I have never seen Max fight so cant comment. Sam fights more like a freestyle karate style fighter than a kickboxer but I think shes got lots of guts which always goes down well win lose or draw.
I have refereed Oliver Woolard before and seen him fight at the Octagon. He won his fight at the octagon , but in all honesty it defies all logic why that particular fighter was matched with him in the first place !!! In all honesty, Oliver is anything but exciting. His fighting style doesn't do it for me. Maybe he has changed his style and upped his game? We will see at the end of this month, but from what we had seen, most of our guys were less thna impressed to hear that he was a Black belt , no disrespect meant.
Adam Lawrence from Adrian's shows a lot of heart and stands toe to toe, covers well on the ropes and boxes well from a southpaw stance. Also has a good right leg side kick.
I rate Adam out of all of your club.
Again just my viewpoints , if you agree you agree, if you disagree thats fine too. Now points fighting is totally separate from kickboxing. I dont think the two disciplines should be taught together as they have totally different stances, techniques and objectives. Light continuous can be constituted to be a preliminary form of kickboxing due to the similar stance, techniques, footwork and the gloves used. To me, points fighting is not kickboxing its freestyle karate.

Ive seen him a few times. Hes not bad ability wise, but just not exciting. Some fighters are like that im afraid.

Now interesting match up:

Clobo Vs Sam Fisher

Clobo attacks with high workrate and powerful punch combos. Sam fights from a southpaw stance and attacks from the counter preferring to move around more.
Clobo's aggressive style Vs Sam's sharp counter fighting , Sam gets more aggressive and stronger once she has been tagged a few times.
As it is 2x1.5 mins of Light contact, the result is unpredictable. If they win one round a piece it will be a draw.
If the fight was 3x2mins Full contact though, my money would be on Clo_bo.
Since it isn't this is one that could be matched more than once and you could have a different result each time!

Thank you Jediwarrior.

I think it would have been a cracking fight under FC rules. Clobo is aggresive but do you think she will be able to keep that up over 3x2 mins?

Will Sam be able to keep hitting and moving over 3x2mins?
Which approach will prove to be more effective once the bell rings for the 3rd and final round?

Who will come out on top?
Thats what makes the fight game so exciting.

I can believe it jedi , but one thing to remember, in full contact fighting no matter how fit you are when throwing your own full powered shots or taking them your own energy can be sapped quicker than you imagine.
Sam is still a novice when it comes to fighting in the ring and as such is more susceptible to ring fatigue. Thats why you find even superfit novices always seem to be less powerful in the last round.
Just a thought thats all.
