What's going on in Woodhouse that warrants the sirens at this time of night?
It's usually blue flashing lights only at this time of night.

Cant confirm anything but I've been told there was a shooting on highgate in Tinsley last night. A house on Sheffield Road was sealed off.

No its not - ask the experts - less crime (gun or otherwise) than people perceive - apparently - seems to be on the increase to me - or perhaps I just notice it more these days.

Just been on radio - someone was stabbed to death in Hackenthorpe last night - two people being questioned.

Strix, roughly whereabouts in Woodhouse were the cars flying about? Mine was nicked from near the corner shop, just off the Moss Way roundabout.

And what time was it?

(Mine hasn't been found yet, by the way)

They all seem to end up on parkwood springs.

Thats where my motorbike, and the bikes of my mates get found.

A house was shot at and so was their car at about 1/1.30am. It wasn't on Highgate though.

A friend told me about Highgate and was wrong but i did see the tape across the bottom junctions of Raby Street leading onto Sheffield Road.

This junction is within 30 seconds of J34 of the M1 and is known as Tinsley roundabout, it is the main route for Meadowhall traffic. Not that Meadowhall cares about that.

I read in THE STAR (Thurs page11+)that the house belonged to the REHMAN family and that the house had been shot at with a shotgun.

Another friend heard the shots and within 10 minutes the police helicopter was flying overhead clearing the way for the ensuing armed police with sirens blaring.

The police have been to the area several times in the past concerning this family.

So this has nothing to do with the incident in Woodhouse then?
