Does anyone know if there will be a One big sunday in Sheffield this year, as last years at the Don Vallley Bowl was ace, despite the rain. I've checked the radio 1 site and cannot find any info.

a free concert by radio 1 where a few bands play - usually in a park

Leicester, 10th August! Me and our Gert went as guests of Sheffields own Richard Hawley who was on the bill with Ian McCulloch, The Vessels, Chrissy Hinde, Steve Earle, Billy Bragg etc!

Can't remember much as we got absolutely kettled!! But Mr Hawley was the mutts nuts......well he would be....He's Sheffields finest!!!8)

The Sheffield event wasn't One Big Sunday, it was a dance event which I cannot quite remember the name of...
