We went to Asda at Handsworth yesterday in a bid to get HP and the Deathly Hallows, I was quite surprised to find out that they were sold out.

I hatched a cunning plan. I went to a deprived area where I percieved the literacy levels to be lowest and low and behold ........ A copy with my name on it!

So if you can't get it then go to one of the myriad areas where you don't think people can spell anything other than 'Dole' 'Scratchcard' or 'Lager' and you'll be well in.

I can't believe there are that many stores where the customers seem even more illiterate and deprived than the ones at Handsworth.

I'd be ringing the police about this to be honest, it's just a matter of time before the death eaters come and get you.

Blimey, I didn't know Handsworth was the 'new' Left Bank or North Oxford ;)

You'd have stood a better chance of buying a copy somewhere like Hunters Bar because all the inter-lectewel Sunday supplement readers would have been "Oh, I'm not buying mass-market pap for my little dahling! I'll be buying him a worthy book about hemp-farmers in Guatemala instead. Sniff." ;)

Bah! South West Sheffielders read Harry Potter too, there were loads of people at Rhyme and Reason at Hunters Bar buying their copies on Friday night/Saturday morning and not discounted too. Supporting local traders instead of big chains. Any book that can keep children and adults captivated for seven volumes is worth reading wherever in the city you live, surely?
