Its holiday season again, so last week armed with our tent and the Sierra we headed to the coast for a spot of camping in Lincolnshire. The other half drove there and the car didnt miss a beat. Drove around for a few days no problems. The day before we are due to come home we decide to go to the local pub for a couple of games of pool, i say i will drive as i dont drink. The pub is about 1.5 miles away from the campsite we are staying on. On the way there the Sierra develops a intermitent but severe misfire. On the way back the car misfires cuts out and refuses to restart on a country road in the middle of nowhere. Otherhalf decides to walk back to the campsite to get a tow. Returns half an hour later with one bloke to shove it. Fortunatly lincolnshire is flat so we magane to push it back to the site. After a few minutes of tinkering we discover the fuel pump which was replaced about 12 months ago has packed up. So i belt if with the rubber hammer and hey presto it works better than ever now!
