It appears that Jimmy Connors could be about to help British Tennis. Lets face it, it needs all the help it can get.

The LTA multi million pound tennis centre is to be completed in 2006 and there will then be a frame work in place for someone to work with the youngsters and develop them.

Connors has expressed an interest.

Perhaps some success for British Tennis is on the horizon?

Has Jimmy Connors got any history of successful Tennis Coaching/Administration

When he was a player he always came across as being fairly arrogant. Doesn't seem like an obvious or ideal choice.

But, having said that, he can hardly make a worse job of it than anyone else.

I think the main problem with Tennis in this country is that people are only interested during Wimbledon, and the rest of the year it is seen as a bit of a toffs game, and there aren't any quality public courts, you have to become a member of a snooty club.
