The title says it all really. Are there any places in s8 which have been flooded? I have felt so sorry for you all :( and don't want the same to happen to us in the future.

Apart from maybe Woodseats I'd say it's pretty safe considering most of it's high up, also S8 covers a huge area from Bradway Lowedges down to Meersbrook / Norton, could be a bit more specific?

Hi Gree Web, we were thinking of Norton or Norton Lees area. We're going up tomorrow to have a look (we're in Essex at the moment).

theres no chance of flooding there, its at about 600 feet, everyone else would be in big trouble if it flooded in norton.

The only place really that floods in S8 is Heeley Bridge (almost town) and sometimes outside Woodseats Library - but that's basically it - most of S8 is on a big hill - and Norton/Norton Lees certainly is!!
