Interesting story in one of our neighbouring cities newspapers.

Anyone know anymore?

Which B&Q is it, hard to tell from the article?

It'll be the big one on Queens Rd.

It's hardly Manchester news though. Must be a slow day over there if 'train from sheffield arrives late' is the headline.

Didnt realise the Manchester train went that way though, thought it went the other way, and there is a warehouse at Darnall I think and one at Cortonwood, which is more likely classed as Barnsley.
Think its on the BBC website now someone just mentioned.

Yes it was the B&Q on Queens Rd. The manchester report looks pretty accurate.

No mention of it on SheffieldToday though. Typical of the Star to miss the real news.

Dunno about Manchester having a better Ferris Wheel, but they obviously have a MUCH better local newspaper.

The nottingham-manchester service enters and leaves the station on the same side - past B&Q then out through Dore.

Thanks for asking Strix. Mrs V is fine  . It happened approx 6 am this morning so most workers were not there.

Sorry but i have been asked not to say anything about it YET.

I will answer all questions when given the all clear ;) .

Went past early this morning with coppers flying about everywhere - said to my brother half jokingly bet B&Q has been robbed. Makes a change from them robbing customers I suppose.

I think not, Police were finding small amounts of the stolen cash along the railway tracks.

The gang escaped with a substantial amount but not as much as most people would think!.

hi, i would just like to say that mrs vidster is indeed fine, thankyou for asking strix was it? sorry, ages since i've been on here!!! i wasn't there but was shaken by the news obviously as i do wonder 'what next?' and i do know some of the people who were involved and i am very concerned about them.
there are stories flying all over as to whats happened but basically the story in tonights star is quite accurate. there are details that at the moment i cannot disclose but we're pulling together as a store and hopefully today has proved buisiness as usual.

Is there an update to this yet, or do we have to wait for a trial before anybody can talk?

How are the injured now?
