Also looking for any GOOD/RELIABLE agency for work (anytype)
I was with one (not mentioning name) & they promised the world....7 weeks later still no work!!!!....
Need Help for work..usually worked in warehouse (orderpicker/distpatch crew)
But willing to do any type of work at the mo!!
Need an agency who have regular work...:help:
Also have full u.k drivers licence (but a few points on there)

Just email your cv to some companies, far more reliable than any job agency.

If you want office work office angels have been good at getting people jobs both me and my sister had a job within a week through them not good at being friendly/helpful once they've placed you there though in my case anyway.

Had an interview this comingWednesday at a city centre agency. Booked time off, arranged travel etc. Now I've never had much faith in these kind of people but....just received an email saying "Thanking you for your attendance....on this occasion you were not successful".

I haven't even been there yet! I think employment agencies are very similar to travel agencies in that:


There is absolutely no need for them
Most of the "jobs" don't even exist.

Some good news about an agency - Janet @ Law Recruitment Agency answered my email same day, invited me in to do test etc next day and put me forward for a vacancy which I now have an interview for today. She called when she said she would and has been really great!
