I would be most grateful if someone could offer me some information regarding merchant banking OR taking on-line payments via credit cards through my website? I live in sheffield and want to start a business via the internet. I'd really appreciate some information, espeically if the guys who design websites on here know anything about it? many thanks!

See if you can get some funding from Business Link. they do diversification funding which can often match what you invest yourself. they have some real good contacts. Advice is often free to small business
