You could try Business Link South Yorkshire (http://www.blsy.com/) for advice. They help with start ups and will ring you back if you request it.
A bit of advice from experience, find a good accountant.;)
I know a lot of people who haven't had much help with business link, but i also work closely with business link and the reason they can't help everyone is because they focus on'high growth start ups' ie companies that will rapidly develop new technology, create new jobs and regenerate the area. Business adviser at a bank might be a good idea

A place called Senta - which is based within the Chamber of Commerce has been great with me.
I went on my business training course with them and once you become self employed you can sign up with them for 2 years FREE support.
What ideas do you have? I started my business in February his year.

Moon,
I can't believe you trusted your business training to muggles:lol:

SENTA do a lot to aid new start-ups.
We're also starting to run occasional 'Entrepeneur Meets' where you can meet other business folks (and people starting businesses or thinking about it) for a chat and to share news and good practice.
Senta are at http://www.senta.co.uk/
Cheers,
